Dear Members-
Happy Holidays!  We sincerely hope that this holiday season has brought you joy and happiness to last the whole year!
It’s hard to believe, but here at the Chamber, we have our sights set on the New Year, and all of the programs and activities we plan to bring to our members for 2017.
While making your new year’s resolutions and plans, don’t forget about some of the Chamber’s most popular programs and upcoming events:
  • There are still some 2017 BAH Season Passes that are available to reserve.  Although the deadline may have passed for the special discounted pricing, be sure to keep your eyes and ears open for other opportunities for more discounts (hint: some of our media partners may have the inside scoop!)
  • Tickets are still available for the Chamber’s 2017 Annual Dinner, taking place Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Club 86 in Geneva!  A few event highlights will include the year in review presentation, a welcome to all new 2016 Chamber members, and the return of the Buy Local, Shop Local Silent Auction!
As always, be sure to see below for more info on these and other programs, photo recaps and more from recent Chamber events and activities!

Chamber Team Presents at Fall 4-H Leadership Conference
“Campus, County, & Community”
The New York State Association for Cornell Cooperative Extension held their 4-H Leadership Conference from October 25-27 at the Ramada Geneva Lakefront this past fall. The 2016 Conference was titled Strengthening 4-H Connections, and featured the three key themes of Campus, County, and Community.
Invited to speak about experiences with making connections and offer insight on similar scenarios covering these areas, Chamber Staff Miranda Odell and Abby Wandell, had the opportunity to participate as Capstone Presenters at the conclusion of the conference.

The staff would once again like to thank Jennifer Jensen (pictured above, 4th from right) and Rachel Williams (first from left) for contacting the Chamber and helping to build another important local partnership in the Geneva and surrounding community!
4H is led by a unique private-public partnership of universities, federal and local government agencies, foundations and professional associations. These partners work together to provide rich educational content and curriculum, resources in cutting-edge technology, insight into the latest national issues and innovative thought-leadership.
National 4H Council is the private sector, non-profit partner of 4H National Headquarters located at the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) within the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). 4H programs are implemented by the nation’s 100+ land-grant colleges and universities and the Cooperative Extension System through 3,000 local offices across the country.
