A large crowd was present at the official ribbon cutting and grand reopening celebration that was co-hosted by the Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce at Geneva Fit Club on Tuesday, February 13. Chamber staff, several board members, committee volunteers, local business owners and employees gathered to show their support at the event, which included a ceremonial ribbon cutting and was included under the Chamber’s popular Member Milestone Celebration Program. The program was introduced in 2016 as a benefit for members of the Chamber with the purpose of providing awareness and exposure for the many businesses and organizations that the Chamber represents.
Included in photo: Owners Patti and Don Scalise, front row, (fourth and sixth from left); in addition with their gym members and staff. Chamber representatives included Chamber Executive Director, Miranda Odell (second row, far left); Member Programs & Events Coordinator, Abby Wandell (front row, far left); Newly appointed Ambassador Committee Chair Alexa Wessie of Reliant Community Federal Credit Union (front row, far right); Board Members, Kim Aliperti of Billsboro Winery (second row, far right); Polly Clark of Generations Bank (second row, second from right); Mark Palmieri of the Geneva BID (third row, far right); Tanya Taylor of Petrella Phillips (back row, center); Chad Lahr of Community Proud Apparel and I Heart the FLX (second row, third from left); and Geneva City Council member Jason Hagerman (back row, far right).
