The Geneva Chamber of Commerce acts as the go-to source for information about out area. We are glad to offer this service to our community. Below are answers to questions that are asked almost daily. What are the hours of operation for the Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce (GACC) and Visitor Center?
We are open Monday through Friday, 9am to 4:30pm. Additional Visitor Center hours are Saturday, Sunday and Holidays from 9:30am to 3:30pm, Memorial Day through Columbus Day.
Where is the GACC located?
We are located within One Franklin Square at 537 Exchange Street, Geneva. From the NYS Thruway, take exit 42 and follow Route 14 South approximately 6.5 miles into downtown Geneva. (Route 14 in downtown Geneva is also known as Exchange Street). One Franklin Square will be on the left hand side, on the corner of Exchange and Seneca Streets.
How do I join the GACC?

I am a member and I want to update/change information on my listing? Can I do that myself?
Yes, use your member login and password to access your information and make any necessary changes. Can't seem to locate that information? Contact us at 315.789.1776.
What is DDC?
DDC, Defensive Driving Course, is a six-hour 6-hour curriculum offering practical knowledge and techniques to avoid crashes, and to choose safe, responsible and lawful driving behaviors. A course is held each month at the GACC in the Community Room. You must pre-register and pre-pay!
Do you offer group health insurance?
Yes, we offer health insurance through MVP Health Care and Excellus. You must be a member of the GACC or a sole proprietor to be eligible for health insurance. Contact Shannon Combs for more information.
I would like to start a business, do you have any advice?
The GACC is proud to offer SCORE counseling to individuals looking to start a business or improve on their already existing business. Contact the GACC at 315.789.1776 and we can coordinate the counseling session for you!
I can't find the telephone number for Social Security? City Clerk? Greyhound Bus?

Does the GACC act as a local Better Business Bureau?
No, although the GACC is willing to help in any way we can, we are not the BBB. You can contact the BBB or the Attorney General for more information.
Is the gazebo in Lakefront Park available to rent?
Yes, you can contact the Geneva Recreation Department to rent the gazebo.
Is there a fee to enter the Seneca Lake State Park?
The entrance fee for the state park is $7; senior citizens are free Monday to Thursday.
Where can I get a fishing license?
You can get a fishing license at Wal-Mart, the Town Clerk's office offices or the City Clerk's office.
When is the National Lake Trout Derby? Can I drop my application off at the GACC?
The National Lake Trout Derby is held every year on Memorial Day weekend. You must mail in your application to Finger Lakes Sports-O-Rama or you can register at Roy's Marina.
Are there public docks in Geneva?
Public docks are located near the Chamber and the Ramada. There are no fees to use the docks and you leave your boat at your own risk. The City of Geneva asks that you do not leave your boat docked for long periods of time (days/weeks).
Are the public restrooms within the Chamber building handicap accessible?
Yes.
