The Arc Ontario’s Annual Holiday Gift Wrap Booth returns to Eastview Mall this December!

The holiday season is fast approaching, and with it comes an opportunity to spread joy, give back to the community, and share in the spirit of giving. We are thrilled to announce that The Arc Ontario’s annual Holiday Gift Wrapping Booth is returning to Eastview Mall from December 1st to December 24th, and we invite you to be a part of this heartwarming tradition once again!

Our Main Booth will be located in the Mall’s main court, and our secondary booth is tentatively planned to be just outside Macy’s department store, provided we get the proper clearance from Eastview and Macy’s management, and we couldn’t be more excited to create a festive atmosphere where shoppers can have their gifts beautifully wrapped while supporting a worthy cause. We are reaching out to you because we believe your involvement could make a significant impact on our efforts.

How You Can Get Involved:

–       Volunteer as a Gift Wrapper: Share your creativity and gift-wrapping skills with shoppers as you transform their presents into works of art. We have two shifts available each day, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on weekdays, and 11:00 am – 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm on weekends. Shift start and end times may vary depending on Mall hours. You can sign up for shifts that fit your schedule by visiting our Sign-Up Genius page: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C094DACA628A2FFC34-2023.

–       Become a Supervisor: If you have experience in managing the gift intake and cash register, consider volunteering as a supervisor. Supervisors play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our booth and supervising our amazing team of gift wrappers. To volunteer as a supervisor, please use the same Sign-Up Genius link, https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C094DACA628A2FFC34-2023.

By volunteering your time and skills at The Arc Ontario’s Holiday Gift Wrap Booth, you will be making a meaningful contribution to our mission of fostering life-long fulfillment through active citizenship and enriched community living for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities or other challenges. This initiative not only provides essential funds for our innovative menu of programs and services, but also brings holiday cheer to our community.

We hope you can join us in making this holiday season extra special for all. Together, we can wrap up the year with kindness, generosity, and a touch of festive magic.

Thank you for considering our invitation, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, are interested in a partial shift or special accommodations, or need more information. We look forward to celebrating the holidays with you at Eastview Mall!
