Canandaigua National Bank & Trust Hosts Chamber’s October BAH Mixer
The Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce held its October Business After Hours Networking Mixer at Canandaigua National Bank & Trust’s (CNB) newest office location on Wednesday, October 13. Around 50 chamber members, partners, ambassadors and other guests attended the event.
During the BAH Mixer, guests enjoyed refreshments and saw the changes throughout CNB’s recently opened office building, located at 287 Hamilton Street, the former home of Friendly’s Restaurant, which underwent a complete renovation this past summer. Guests were also able to talk with CNB staff and leadership including Vice President and Branch Manager, Diana Perry, and Assistant Manager and Chamber Board Member, Polly Clark as well as Frank H. Hamlin, III.
Hamlin, who is the bank’s President and CEO, represents the fifth generation of the Hamlin family to lead the company. He is the great, great grandson of Frank H. During the event presentation, Chamber President/Executive Director Miranda Odell commented on the steady turnout and thanked attendees for showing their increased support and interest with the return of Business After Hours.
“We want to take this opportunity to specifically thank CNB for hosting our latest Business After Hours Networking Event, and for being involved as engaged Chamber members and providing ongoing support towards our regional events and programs,” she noted. “We pride ourselves on being ‘Professional Dot Connectors’ and our BAH Mixers are a great way to do just that. Not only were we able to celebrate CNB’s newest office location and officially welcome them to Geneva, but we were able to help facilitate personal connections within our business community, and that’s what it’s all about,” she added.
The next Business After Hours Networking Mixer will take place at the Finger Lakes Welcome Center. Located at 35 Lakefront Drive in Geneva, the event will be held on Wednesday, November 10 from 5 – 7 PM. Admission is $5 for members and $10 for non-members. Reservations are required as space is limited.

Business After Hours Networking Mixers are brought to you by the Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce. The Mixers are held on the second Wednesday of each month from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM or from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The purpose of the BAH Mixers is to help increase awareness of Chamber Members by offering guests the opportunity to visit and experience the business location and to see and/or sample the property’s products and/or services.
